〜とすれば…

  • 仮定的な状況や想定を述べるのに使われる文型。
  • 条件文を作る際によく使われ、その条件や仮定が本当であった場合に、話者が何が起こるかを論理的に考えたことを示すのに使われることが多い。

例文

  • 来年(らいねん)、会社(かいしゃ)を辞(や)めるとすれば、今(いま)から新(あたら)しい仕事(しごと)を探(さが)さなければならない。
    If I plan to quit my job next year, I need to start looking for a new one now.
  • 9時(じ)のバスに間(ま)に合(あ)わないとすれば、次(つぎ)は12時(じ)まで待(ま)つことになる。
    If I can't make it to the 9 o'clock bus, I will have to wait until 12 o'clock for the next one.
  • 田中(たなか)さんの話(はなし)が正(ただ)しいとすれば、部長(ぶちょう)の行動(こうどう)に問題(もんだい)があると思(おも)う。
    If Tanaka-san’s story is true, I think there is a problem with the department head's actions.
  • 100歳(さい)まで元気(げんき)だとすれば、あと何(なん)か国(こく)海外旅行(かいがいりょこう)に行(い)けるだろうか。
