V(て) + ちゃう (完了(かんりょう))

  • ある行動が完了したり、ある出来事が終わったりしたことを強調するのに使われる文型。
  • 文型『V(て) + てしまう』の短縮形で、カジュアルな会話で使われることが多い。

例文

  • あれ、昨日(きのう)買(か)ったワインは？ ー あ、一人(ひとり)で全部(ぜんぶ)飲(の)んじゃった。
    Huh? What happened to the wine we bought yesterday? – Ah, I ended up drinking it all by myself.
  • 9時(じ)のバスにまだ間(ま)に合(あ)う？ ー ううん、もう行(い)っちゃったよ。
    Will I still make it in time for the 9 o'clock bus? - No, it's already gone.
  • ドラマがおもしろくて、1日(にち)で10話(わ)見終(みお)わっちゃった。
    The drama was so interesting that I finished watching 10 episodes in one day.
  • 冷蔵庫(れいぞうこ)に残(のこ)っている料理(りょうり)、全部(ぜんぶ)食(た)べちゃうね。
    I’m going to eat all the food left in the fridge.
  • まだ帰(かえ)らないんですか。 ー うん、この仕事(しごと)を今日中(きょうじゅう)にやっちゃいたいから。
    Aren’t you going back yet? － Yeah, I want to finish this work by today.
