例文

  • ニュースによると、北(ほっ)海(かい)道(どう)で大(おお)きな地(じ)震(しん)があったということだ。
    According to the news, I heard that there was a major earthquake in Hokkaido.
  • 部(ぶ)長(ちょう)は今(きょ)日(う)会(かい)議(ぎ)に出(しゅっ)席(せき)できないということです。
    I heard that the department manager cannot attend the meeting today.
  • 田(た)中(なか)さんは忙(いそが)しいということだから、パーティーには来(こ)ないと思(おも)う。
