N + にする (決定(けってい))

  • 決定や選択を表すのに使われる文型。
  • 複数の選択肢から選んだり、自分の好みを伝えたり、何かを変えることを決断したりする状況で使われることが多い。

意味

decide on N; choose N; go with N

例文

  • 朝(あさ)ごはん、私(わたし)はパンにします。 ー 私(わたし)はご飯(はん)にします。
    For breakfast, I'll go with bread. — I'll go with rice.
  • ホテルの部(へ)屋(や)は、シングルにしました。
    I decided on a single room for the hotel.
  • もう遅(おそ)いから、会(かい)議(ぎ)は明(あ)日(した)にしよう。
    Since it's already late, let's make the meeting tomorrow.
