V(て) + てから…

  • ある行動や出来事が起きた後で、別の行動や出来事が起きることを表すのに使われる文型。
  • 1番目の行動が完了したことを前提として、2番目の行動が起きることを強調するのに使われることが多い。

意味

  • 手(て)を洗(あら)ってから、料(りょう)理(り)をします。
    I'll wash my hands and then cook.
  • 眼(め)鏡(がね)をかけてから、本(ほん)を読(よ)みます。
    I'll read a book after putting on my glasses.
  • 服(ふく)が汚(よご)れたので、洗(せん)濯(たく)してから、シャワーを浴(あ)びる。
    My clothes are dirty, so after washing them, I'll take a shower.
  • 家(いえ)に帰(かえ)ってから、ご飯(はん)を食(た)べます。
    I'll eat dinner after I get home.
  • 宿(しゅく)題(だい)をしてから、寝(ね)ます。
    I will go to bed after doing my homework.
  • ご飯(はん)を食(た)べてから、薬(くすり)を飲(の)んでください。
    Please take the medicine after eating.
  • 日本(にほん)に来(き)てから、友達(ともだち)に会(あ)いました。
    Since coming to Japan, I met my friends.
  • カメラのマークを押(お)してから、白(しろ)いボタンを押(お)します。
