そろそろ

  • 何かを始める時期が近づいている、または何かがもうすぐ起こりそうであることを表すのに使われる副詞。

例文

  • もう3月(がつ)なので、そろそろ桜(さくら)の季節(きせつ)だ。
    Since it's already March, the cherry blossom season is coming soon.
  • 10時(じ)に出(で)るから、そろそろ準備(じゅんび)しよう。
    I’m leaving at 10, so let’s get ready soon.
  • 明日(あした)は朝早(あさはや)いから、そろそろ寝(ね)ないといけない。
    Since I have an early start tomorrow, I need to sleep soon.
  • そろそろ先生(せんせい)が来(く)ると思(おも)います。
    I think the teacher will come soon.
