V(て) + てもかまわない

  • 話者がある行動に対して異議がないことを表すのに使われる文型。
  • 通常、丁寧な形で、相手に許可を与えたりするのに使われる。
  • 疑問形の形で相手に許可を取るのにも使われる。

例文

  • お腹(なか)がいっぱいなら、全部(ぜんぶ)食(た)べなくてもかまいませんよ。
    If you’re full, you don’t have to eat everything.
  • 興味(きょうみ)がなかったら、イベントには行(い)かなくてもかまいません。
    If you're not interested, you don't have to go to the event.
  • 宿題(しゅくだい)を出(だ)すのは、明日(あした)でも明後日(あさって)でもかまわないそうだ。
    It seems that it's fine to submit the homework either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
  • ここにあるお菓子(かし)は、好(す)きに食(た)べてもかまいません。
    Feel free to eat the sweets that are here.
  • ここで飲(の)み物(もの)を飲(の)んでもかまいませんか。
    Is it okay if I drink a beverage here?
