副詞

決(けっ)して

  • 否定や拒否を強調するのに使われる副詞。
  • 通常、否定の動詞が後ろに続き、何かが絶対に起こらないことや、絶対にしてはいけないことを表す。

例文

  • 国(くに)へ帰(かえ)っても、日本(にほん)での思(おも)い出(で)は決(けっ)して忘(わす)れません。
    Even if I return to my home country, I will never forget my memories of Japan.
  • 何回(なんかい)試験(しけん)に落(お)ちても、決(けっ)してあきらめない。
    No matter how many times I fail the exam, I will never give up.
  • 医者(いしゃ)や看護師(かんごし)の仕事(しごと)は、ミスは決(けっ)して許(ゆる)されない。
    Doctors and nurses’ jobs never allow for mistakes.
  • 友達(ともだち)の悪口(わるくち)は、決(けっ)して言(い)ってはいけないよ。
    You should never speak ill of your friends.
