ようやく

  • 長時間の努力や待機、または過程を経て、何かがやっと実現したことを表すのに使われる副詞。
  • 時間や忍耐を要することが完了した際の、安堵や満足感を伝えるのに使われることが多い。

例文

  • 1か月(げつ)かかって、ようやくレポートが書(か)き終(お)わった。
    It took a month, but I finally finished writing the report.
  • レストランで1時間(じかん)待(ま)って、ようやく料理(りょうり)が来(き)た。
    I waited for an hour at the restaurant, and finally, the food came.
  • 試験(しけん)に合格(ごうかく)したので、来年(らいねん)ようやく日本(にほん)へ行(い)ける。
    I passed the exam, so I will finally be able to go to Japan next year.
