〜かどうか…

  • ある行動や出来事、状態が真実かどうかわからないという不確かさを伝えたり、尋ねたりするのに使われる文型。
  • 『かどうか』の後の文節では、『知る』『わかる』『決める』などの動詞が使われることが多い。

例文

  • 学校(がっこう)を出(で)たら、国(くに)へ帰(かえ)るかどうか、まだ決(き)めていません。
    I haven't decided yet whether I'll go back to my country after leaving school.
  • 牛丼(ぎゅうどん)は食(た)べたことがないので、おいしいかどうかわかりません。
    I've never had a beef bowl, so I don't know if it is good or not.
  • あのスポーツクラブがきれいかどうか、知(し)りたい。
    I want to know if that sports club is clean or not.
