Kosoado (Demonstrative)
Use for intangible things
- Ko-so-a-do (demonstrative) words can be used for not only tangible things but also intangible things like actions or events.
- In conversation or writing, Ko-so-a-do words are often used to refer to previously mentioned information, providing coherence and avoiding repetition.
- The choice of "こ," "そ," and "あ" is determined by the spatial distance between sentences, temporal distance, and the speaker's psychological distance.
