[Keigo (Honorific)] Kenjogo (Basic form): Meaning and Example Sentences

Basic form is a form of kenjogo (謙譲語, humble language) which can be created by conjugating verbs according to the following rules:
- Group 1 and 2: お + V(ます) + します
- Group 3: ご + V(ます) + します

私(わたし)が、お客様(きゃくさま)をご案内(あんない)します。

I will guide you.
この体温計(たいおんけい)は、使(つか)えません。ー新(あたら)しいものをお持(も)ちします。

This thermometer cannot be used. - I'll get you a new one.
