• One of the uses of the passive form is to express that the subject of the sentence (mainly the speaker) has been indirectly inconvenienced or harmed by the actions of someone or something else, causing them to feel negative emotions.
  • This usage can only be applied when the subject of the sentence or their belongings are not directly affected, but the subject is indirectly impacted.
  • Note that, unlike other usages, only the particle "に" can be used for the object (the giver of the action), and "によって" or "から" cannot be used.
